Perfect for daily exercises.

I've been looking for a book that would have a good amount of exercises that don't just give a situational prompt for you to work from. Both of Kiteley's books have exercises that help you with different elements of writing as well as providing useful tips and examples. I would recommend this book to any writer who is looking to expand on their style and practice their flexibility.

A cornerstone for every writer's bookshelf

The essential tool for broadening the mind of any writer, no matter how fresh or experienced they might be. I will always include this book in ever list of essential resources for writers, no matter their skill level, no matter the context. I believe it is absolutely indispensable.

good enough book on writing fiction

This book was a disappointment. I have ceased from purchasing any more how to write books. They all say the same thing. If you have any book on writing fiction, it probably covers the same ground as this one. I gave it three stars because there's nothing wrong with the advice. It's just not the least bit new or different
