Very basic information provided. Gives a general overview about market strategies on the corporate level, business level, and product level that are out there. Not much practical advise.

Example: Pages 114/115 Adopter Categories

"Early adopters differ from later adopters. Using time of adoption as a basis for classifying individuals, five major groups can be distinguished: innovators, early adopters, early majority, late majority, and laggards...Because each category comprises individuals who have similar characteristics and because individuals differ substantially across categories, these adopter groups can be considered market segments. Thus, one would use a different set of strategies to market a new product to the early adopter group than to market it to the late majority group."

As a puppeteer, Henson performed in various television programs, such as Sesame Street and The Muppet Show, films such as The Muppet Movie and The Great Muppet Caper, and created advanced puppets for projects like Fraggle Rock, The Dark Crystal, and Labyrinth. He was also an Academy Award-nominated film director (for his short film Time Piece), Emmy Award-winning television producer, and the founder of The Jim Henson Company, the Jim Henson Foundation, and Jim Henson's Creature Shop.

Expected more Jareth. Still beautiful.

Maybe I expected a larger book, but the art in the book was beautiful and did follow along the time line of the movie. A lot of art dedicated towards the Goblins, creatures and Sarah. I was disappointed with the lack of art for Jareth though. As it is a tribute I would have expected more Jareth as he did simultaneously popped up through the story of the movie. Unfortunately we only had a few, but very beautiful, pieces that showed him.

The tribute was beautiful but for the price I expected more artwork. It does make a nice piece for my faerie and Labyrinth collection I have.

Totally worth your time.

This was actually really good both in story and how it was wrote. Initially I started reading this over some dinner only to get interrupted, however once I returned to reading it I could not put it down. The characters are all really well written,they each have a strong desire that makes them go forward in the plot, and makes it all the more entertaining to read. It's easy to feel attached to them. I can't wait to see what's next and without a doubt plan to purchase it immediately when given chance. Bravo ~

Essentials for Students

I highly recommend this book for students as a supplementary text for the year long organic chemistry course sequence. I have taught organic chemistry at a liberal arts college for many years and have seen many students become overwhelmed with organic right from the start of the first semester. As a supplement to a student's instructor and course text, this book by Sloop helps get students off to a fast start by focusing on the essentials. It is written for students and as such, is concise, easy to read, and focuses on material students must master early in order to be successful in the year long organic sequence. My students who have used the book tell me they couldn't have survived organic without it. I have seen many other similar student study aids for organic and this is one of the best. I have also recommended it to my former students who are reviewing organic chemistry to get prepared for the MCAT, DAT, PCAT and other professional schools entrance exams. I have a copy of Sloop's book myself and have incorporated much of it directly in my lectures.

Kindle version doesn't work right!

I bought the Kindle version of this book, and after reading for a few hours, and I was finally getting to the important stuff, I came across a whole lot of pages that didn't work right. The pages that didn't work was like a scanned picture of a page from the paper version, with no possibility to zoom, which made it really hard to read. After reading one page like that my eyes were so strained that I just put the book down, and haven't read any more in it.
Too bad, really, because the part that I did get to read was pretty good. But it was a waste of money for me when I'm not able to read the whole book.

After the first chapter, the pages change to what looks to be a very bad and blurry PDF. I do not recommend.
